Privacy
MLCode keeps only the data it needs to save your progress. Last updated 23 October 2026.
What we keep
- When you sign in with GitHub or Google: your name, email address, profile picture, and the account id from that provider.
- The code you submit, whether it passed, and when.
- Unsubmitted drafts of your code, so you can continue later.
- Comments you post on problems.
Cookies and local storage
One cookie holds a random id, so your progress is kept before you sign in. After sign in, a session cookie keeps you signed in. Your browser also stores small settings, such as the theme and the editor layout. There are no ads and no tracking cookies.
What other people can see
Your name and profile picture show on the leaderboard and next to your comments. Your email address and your code are not shown to other people.
Who else handles your data
The site runs on Vercel and the database is on Neon. GitHub and Google handle sign in. If you open a PyTorch problem in Google Colab, the notebook runs on Google's machines. We do not sell your data or give it to anyone else.
Deleting your data
To delete your account and everything linked to it, send an email to arneshbanerjee24@gmail.com from the address on your account.
